Abstract Art.

Our current perception of abstract paintings dates back to around 1910 and the cubism of Picasso and Braque.

This led to the pure abstract paintings created by artists such as Mondrian and Kandinsky. For the first time artists began to create abstract paintings as a result of a deliberate artistic development.
