Contemporary Abstract Artist

My passion for painting began in 2006 when I started experimenting with various subject matters. I soon discovered that 'painting to music' inspired me, which lead me in the direction of abstract compositions, reflecting the style of music to which I was listening. My work quickly progressed from oils to acrylics, which dry very quickly, and enabled me to capture the musical movements, rhythms and sounds more spontaneously on the canvas without having to wait for the paint to dry.

'Musical interpretation', where I capture the rhythms and sounds I hear and feel into a visual movement on the canvas fills me with immense joy and satisfaction.

In many of my paintings I use a unique technique I have developed of applying textured, coloured dots to represent the essence of the musical notes.

As a full-time professional artist, I am very excited about the future because I am only at the beginning of a long road of discovery ahead of me. I intend to continue my artistic work in the direction of Musical Interpretation.
